Alcohol in high doses can greatly increase feelings of depression and risk of suicide. The combination of benzodiazepines and alcohol can amplify these adverse psychological effects of each other causing enhanced depressive effects on mood and further increase suicidal actions

Yes, it's best not to drink too much. Quite often I used to come home from drinking with my friends and became quite loud and a bit out of control. I know about some prescription drugs and stuff, but thank you for posting so that I and other people know a bit about them. :>

Also, I know how it feels to be depressed and suicidal. Have you had any times where you've felt depressed and suicidal, and have you had to take particular prescription drugs? Of course, only post about your experiences if you feel comfortable with it.
