I was thinking about this years ago - its not too hard to do. Use 12 gauge wire running from 3 "C" batteries taped together ("+" to "-"). Then take a toiletpaper roll and wrap smaller wire around it, once for each song you want - expose the wire wrapped around the roll. Wire one end of each wire into a cd player. Wiire the battery end into the switch on the CD player and the other end of the battery wire to a metal wand stick. sit this in the center console and go for a drive. Touch the wand stick to the wire on the toiletpaper roll that you want to play - Voila! then the song plays! It will take practice to learn how to get the right song, but in the end its waaaay better than XM or anything out there even today!
