THE WORLD HAS MANY WASTE PROBLEMS,SOLUTION PILE ENOUGH ANTI MATER TOGETHER, AND THERE YOU GO NOW YOU HAVE A BLACK HOLE TOILET TO DISPOSE OF ALL THE GARBAGE.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS IDEA :*)

I'll pay $1M COD for all the anti-matter you've got.

well the problem is that if you put the waste into a black hole, it will never be usable again will it? The planet wont lose mass, but it will get smaller.... that can do some strange things. The whole idea is that we need to become better at turning the waste into something useful. Reuse as much as we can, nuclear waste would however be ok to put into a black hole.... interesting idea.

a black hole has to hve an exit hole so throwing all the world rubbish into the black hole could polute an alien plant :-#

just a hole to the center of the earth would be nice

Agreed.

Except that, for a hole of 1 sq.m. area and a depth of 6.4 million meters to the centre of the earth, we will have dug up about 35 million tons of muck, which has to be put somewhere.

Not to worry though, long before that depth we woill have ended up with an open well full of water.

We could use a black hole to make the hole perhaps

We should adopt a salami technique. Sort of whittle down the quantity of waste by a multi-pronged attack. Reduce packaging of some of the goods. May be go back to delivering milk at door steps in reusable bottles. Use paper bags for grocery. Take a reusable cloth bag to the mall for carrying home purchases. Such small changes can reduce a considerable amount of plastic waste.

Domestic garbage can be sent unbagged down a chute to an underground conveyor which delivers it to a central processing station. (One of the Disney Land locations demonstrated this)

Minimise paper based info (News, Ads, journals etc)

yes but what about all the trees you would have to cut down to supply that amount of paper for the world :-# :-# :-#

and also rashis comment about a big rubbish chute is ludicrous becaue imagine the cost of something that drastic you bleeding fool :-) :-) :-)

Replacing plastic with paper is overall an environment friendly option in every case.

Do you not think that an underground conveyor (On the lines of a sewage system) will be less expensive than a 'black hole' or a hole to the centre of the earth? The conveyor is easily visualized. Hence the reaction. As I said, there was a pilot project in the first Disneyland.

Not sure but I thought that black holes have a tendancy to grow forever, thus swallowing up everything, like a big glutonus monster. Hence I think that simulating a black hole in an acceleration chamber or something could be the most dangerous thing we are ever stupid enough to come up with!

Does anyone recall wacky science month on the learning, discovery or some other speciality
channel in the first quarter of 1997? The reason I am interested in this old program is that they talked about a scientist who replicated a black hole in his laboratory in 1915?
His observations of his experiment are documented along with the machine with the only problem with his experiment was the massive amount of electricity required for it to function.
If anyone can direct me to this information I would like to collaborate on reproducing this experiment.

One problem: a black hole (especially one small enough to fit in a toilet) would rip you, and probably the entire planet, into many tiny pieces. Oh well.

i could simply jump into my toilet and go anywhere? hmmmmmm this theory is intresting or maybe aliens could invade are great earth all at once threw the white house toilet
simulating are species and controling are minds to jump into the toilet trading planets? why would you give evil people a black hole? a worm portal light speed any this stuff
it is intresting if you had complete control over the galaxy you could like poop on something you didnt like everytime you took a royal dump. ;] there planet might be cool but think about the people without power or even toilets wouldnt they become slaves?

we should break down these biowaste materials an sort them into catagories for fuel fertilizer and other respected areas and help elimanate costly practices like worm holes in every city or state or planet.
