There is an idea that it is not justified to keep a person with severe brain damage or brain death alive by artificial means. It's a tragic existance that warrants a word or phrase that conveys it's meaning so the masses can readily understand the concept of a "zero-quality-existance." Anyone out there who maybe speaks another language that has named this concept? Please, don't be crass. Some wounds nothing can heal.
