I currently work in Health and am living in Uganda.

I had an idea of producing a hospital bed that was:

Cheap
Easy to Transport (maybe even foldable or basic constructable)
Cleanable (made of correct materials)
Safe
Adjustable

Hospital/Medical products are ridiculously priced and there is surely a way to produce a cheap bed that can preferably be produced within the country given the right tools. If the equipment was supplied maybe could pay the workers per bed constructed.

2 types - Paediatric and Adult

Any ideas would be great!!! Materials, designs, logistics, experiences!
