Filling the levee gap in Lake Pontchartrain

If anyone has connections to fema, pass this on asap:
Lake Pontchartrain has lots of trees. String a really big cable or two across the gap in the levee ( anchoring them will be a problem), and start cutting trees down so they float into the gap and hopefuly catch on the cables. The cables could be strung over the water to cut drag as long as the tree tops get snagged. The silt and flotsam should fill in the gaps. Pass it on-- it might just work! The time is now. Gary
