What I think would be an awsome spin off from the final fantasy saga, would be GF Arena, or Aeon Arena, where you can select a GF from one of the various numbers in the series and pit them against each other in various arenas, fighting in a supersmash bros. meets mortal kombat genre.
The game would have potential to be online and all sorts of ideas could be included, for example, unlockable characters/spells/skills/items, etc. and the use of overdrives as finisher moves/fatalities.

YES, this is a good idea! It's just what you think of whenever you use a GF/Aeon in the games sometimes.
