What do you have to do to be allowed post in the creativity pool forum? They won't even let me see the idea i submitted under "submit an idea".

Oh, you know, it has to be a big idea that you possibly want to work on with an employer or something. Mind you, I managed to put several random ideas into there before that I wasn't planning on taking further.. You probably have a different problem entering the forum then or something.
