Living in the northern portion of the country (USA) we have some limitattions as far as utilizing geothermal energy. I like the concept of using heat from the ground to help heat my home during the frigid winter months. I propose using an "A" frame style type of green house building. This unit could be filled with black PVC hose. The type that comes in say 300' rolls of one inch I.D. or thereabouts. The lines from the Heat pump unit could be connected to this line and then during the day the sunlight would warm the fluid in this PVC Loop and then be used with the heat pump to heat the home during daylight hours. This would at least cut the heating bill and fossil fuel useage by a large percentage. The PVC Loop could be connected to the lines where they come out of the trench where other lines are buried. What's your take on this idea?
