I'm one of those folks who are a true nightmare to businesses who try to cheat their customers. No matter what the issue, I always kick their *** until I get what I want (e.g. my money back).

It would be nice to get some sort of certificate for these achievements. Such a "Don't mess with me!" certificate would save everyone a lot of time. Typically, you have to deal with some arrogant manager who simply doesn't expect you to go all the way to enforce your right, and it takes some effort to convince him that he stands no chance. After some time it gets really boring. Now imagine that instead you could just pull out your "Don't mess with me!" Certificate - the other guy would say "Yikes!" and then do what he would do anyway in the end, only a whole lot faster!

You have put the wind up me for certain. I promise to tread water very softly not to create the slightest ripple in this pool so as not to incur the wrath of DMWM (Dont mess with me) manager.

In India it is so rare that a consumer gets his rights that when it happens, the news is prominently reported in the press. If it is so in your place too, why not carry a laminate of such awards and flash them. Somewhat like the nicks in the butt of the guns of wild west fame.

The problem is that unless it's an official certificate, it might in fact encourage the other side to fight even harder. :-o :-b
