Self contained plant pod
Take corn for example, the mature corn grows to be about 6-7 feet tall. The only problem is it does not grow well in the desert, or the cold. We can build a self contained greenhouse "pod" for growing food in areas of the world that are not able to. In the cold environments, we can add electricity to help generate heat through germination. In the warmer climates, we can cycle water through it to keep it cool.
