On the lighter side, 'flipping the lid' will do this by hallucinating.

More seriously, What is suggested perhaps is like the action of a glider's wings, which provide lift by a suitable angle of attack of the windshield surface to the direction of travel. Unfortunately, a car weighing more than a ton and travelling at, say, 150 kmph will require a pretty large surface area to provide adequate lift. Steering will instantly disappear too when this happens. We will have to provide some sort of rudder mechanism. MDG may have more to say on the flight mechanics part.
