I noticed how most of the time when I pull up to a stop sign, there isn't anyone else there, yet I stop anyway. Why? Because its against the law to not stop at a stop sign.
This is a complete waste of fuel. Perhaps sensors on the road could alert someone that another motorist is going to be at the intersection and thus activate a stop sign alerting the other motorist they are going to need to stop. Otherwise they can just cruise on thru, thus saving fuel!
Reward: recognition
