The idea is to have a suit with thousands of micro-actuators that inflate and deflate thousands of small pockets on a vest. In a first person shooter, the game would calculate where the impact should be and the actuators would simulate a compression wave as the bullet hits your body and spreads out. If this were used in conjunction with the omni-treadmill and the occulus rift, you could achieve a far deeper immersion experience.
