Job swapping Printer Friendly Version
I am suggesting a website where people who travel a long way to work and wish to find a similar job nearer to home could enter their details so they could begin the conversation about swapping jobs with someone who could benefit in a similar way. E.g. I live in the suburb Smithton and work as an accountant across town in Joneston. Someone else lives in Joneston and works as an accountant in Smithton.
It could reduce our personal travel times and traffic congestion. It's not always (or even usually) going to work out but if it helps a few then it could be worth it.
A government initiative perhaps?

Free Clean Energy from Garbage/Trash/Biomatter Printer Friendly Version
Garbage/trash dumps and also biomatter from farms etc. create heat in large dumped volumes. If a water contaner were to be placed into the center of the mound of trash or bio matter or coils of piping were placed in the center of the rotting mass, hot water could be produced for washing, or house heating for poor populations living nearby.

World News in a Sandpit Printer Friendly Version
Most psychologists would probably agree that grownups don't REALLY exist. As we grow older, we simply pretend that our behavior is more rational than it was when we were still sitting in the sandpit, but in fact, while the sandpit has changed, we really haven't: Most of what so-called grownups do really just comes from the same emotional motivation that they had when they were really, really small.
What I'd like to see is a satirical news show that doesn't collaborate in enhancing the self-importance of public figures, and which doesn't pretend that there is some deeper meaning to their behavior, when so often there isn't. In that show, the daily news would be reenacted by preschool children, and so viewers could more easily understand what's REALLY going on. The likes of Kim Jong-un, Angela Merkel, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Donald Trump and so forth would be portrayed as the (unpopular) kids which they really are deep inside, highlighting in their quest for attention, love and respect.
Reward: A piece of world peace
