Bonjour,
Hello,
My name is Ayman El Amine and like many seniors in high school dont know what to major in. I searched in many sites and many universities and I decided that I want to be an engineer. So during my last year of high school I took hard courses like IB HL math and
IB HL physics. Im doing well in these courses but I started asking myself why am I studying this hard, is it because I want to be successful? I asked a lot of people what does he / she
wanted to be, and I had a lot of response but they are all the same. Becoming an engineer, astronaut, businessmen and so on. ... And I asked them what about
helping others. Helping people who do not have enough food to feed
their children , and I had the same answer: "Yes of course."We all want to be rich and successful. Buy a Ferrari and own a house with a big pool, a jaccouzi, a soccer field , a tennis field And many of us are successful in achieving these goals. Imagine if their goals were to help people that have nothing live a normal life. With the same perseverance and motivations they will certainly achieve this goal. You tend to think just about yourself, we never think about others. Everyone in their life wasted food or water and their friend or parents would tell them there are some people who eat once in 2 days, imagine if you were in their place. You would think about it and then after two days you would do the same thing. I know this cause I did it too. I feel like everyone of us has the responsibility of making the world a better place. Imagine if we lived in a world where there is no hunger. Money made us, humans, selfish. We are all humans, why do we have to live separately? Just two days ago I was an adolescent like you who would go out party and have fun. I dont know how this idea came to my mind, but it came to my mind for a reason. Just think about the society that we are living in, we are all for the money. Just let me ask you, just imagine how would a child from a tribe in Africa feel if you bring him to Disney Land. How would you feel? Now, when people are going to ask me what do I want to be, I will respond: I want to be someone who tried to fight against the need to be powerful and rich. I want to be someone who will not fall under the control of other humans that think they control the world. I want to be the one who will make everyone equal.
