After 100s or maybe even 1000s of years of people using ironing boards no one has bothered to fix two fatal flaws I have found in all ironing boards.
1. Every time you open them it sounds like you are releasing Satan and his demons. Why must they screech every time they are opened.
2. Is it possible to make them any less stable. Currently you have to be a master juggler/ magician to have a shirt on it and place the iron on the board with out it toppling over on you.
After all this time and the millions of people who struggle through this daily I would have thought someone would have taken care of these two problems.
