All these reality tv shows gave me an idea.
Why not combine the game of chess into a tv reality game not unlike the amazing race.
Each piece, character and board space would be a different person, geo around the country
As the person moved their destination would obviously change and they would have to go attack the piece (person) that the Overall "Game MAster" if you will chose to engage.
Just not sure of how you would handle ligistics, and would you create some sort of escape aspect where the piece (person being attacked) would have the ability to escape unlike the true game of chess where when you are dead you are dead
This has some aspect for using GPS location devices and some sort of shootable gadget like a paintball gun, etc
Maybe the outcome could be pre-determined by previously played famous chess matches?
