First there was reel to reel then records then tapes then lasers then digital and the only thing that could possibly be better and hold more information in totally massive quatities of video, audio, information, or any other type of storable and usable form of media would be to trap ionic particles and a machine to read the microscopic ions and have them interpreted into those forms of media for instant play back on any kind of technology be it a television, computer, satalite, etc. The point is that ionic particles can be arranged and rearanged and they are the smallest unit of readable material in existence so, it is even better at storing massive quantities of important info and the fastest play back than laser or digital media types and readers like (DVD's, MP3's,etc). Ions can be trapped but, microwaves and radio waves are not suitable for any kind of storage so Ions are the only answer to the future of Media. You can trap Ions in glass, plastic, or any of many other materials to be microscopically read. They also can be used to be read re-aranged and read again like read and write DVD's do today for multiple changing data storage.

Reward: A first at trying the new technology.

Aaron, your ideas sometimes put me in trouble. :-b Are you the only person who knows about the virtues of "ionic particles"? How do you know they can be used for storage? 8-o

Yes, Ions can be trapped by many things including your lung tissue which is a strong concern when using them with air purifiers since trapped ions can cause you breathing and health problems if you breath them directly into your lungs. ;-D
