Many motels are so ignorant that they can't figure out that the folks doing their business in the bathroom not only don't want any unseemly odors to fill the motel room, but neither do they want others to be able to hear a play-by-play description of the BM process.

Bathrooms should be sound-proof and strongly ventilated. But that not being the case, how about a portable "ventilator" that creates enough noise to cover the obvious, and either sucks in the odors, or sends out a deodorant to cover.

This ventilator would also serve as a toiletry bag, which would make taking it to the bathroom a bit more "understandable." Turn it own, and it deodarizes and makes a white noise (or perhaps even plays the radio).
