Toolbox and procedure for simplifying Internet communication, with regard to the wider use of pictographic languages.
Basic principles
One of the key elements of today’s IT-based communication is the display screen, the function of which is to make the message visible to the receiver.
The essence of the new solution is to expand this function as to modify, simplify or enrich the content of the message. As a result, the display screen will have an augmented role by not only being a passive window in the information stream, but a content influencing instrument too. (The principle of the control grid inside the vacuum tube can serve as an electrotechnical analogue, where the third electrode (the control grid) can influence the main electron current. Accordingly, today's display screen can be regarded as a virtual control grid).
The essence of the new set of tools and processes consider the commonly used computer/smart phone/TV display screen as a graphical field in which the pictograms of the pictographic language are provided with several new parameters, variants and / or subversions.
Our target groups are:
The low-income masses that can already reach basic public education, provided with Internet access, including a significant part of the deaf-mute and the illiterates.
1. The display screen is divided to seven (six + a central) fields
The given pictogram (- string) receives 7 modified meaning depending on its placement.
2. The pictogram (- string) appears in 6 different colors, giving you 6 different meanings.
3. The pictogram (- string) moves at 4 speeds, giving you 4 different variants.
4. Repetition
2x, 3x, 4x repetition adds 3 auxiliary meanings.
5. The pictogram (- string) moves in different directions
This makes possible to assign 16 auxiliary meanings.
6. Lighten or darken the pictogram (- string)
7. Masking
Some parts of the screen are masked. This can create large number of variants.
8. Music / noise
Different musical instruments
Rhythm
Volume (ascending - descending)
This can create large number of variants.
