I have an older basic pool slide probably about 14 years old. This is for an IG pool that I inherited with my house i bought 5 years ago. Upon opening the pool this spring there are 3 or 4 hairline cracks running horizontal across the slide.

I'm not sure what type of slide it is,(fiberglass or acrylic), and have a couple of questions I would really appreciate someone who has experienced this could answer.

1. How do I know which type of slide I have (fiberglass or acrylic)
2. Is there any way to fix these cracks so it would be safe to slide

Thanks
