I have always wondered why oxygen is used both to sustain life and support burning in fires and destruction.
Any body with ideas regarding these conflicting roles of oxygen in life, death and destruction?.
To destroy fire, you need water and carbondioxide; and to start a fire you need oxygen. But to give life, you also need oxygen. What are the relationships?
