| Silent pressure coocker 
It's really noisy when the pressure from a pressure cooker is released from the whistle at the top of the lid.
So if we use such a mechanism which lets the steam being released directly into top air thus reducing any kind of collision of steam with metal causing less noise. No worries about burning your face from the hot steam, because steam coming out of small hole at large pressure cools instantly as it comes to open space (pressure is negligible in comparison).
I even thought of a design using the simple mechanism of a jotter pen refill tom and the press button on the pen; which on pressing makes the refill rotate as it comes down so that it can be used for writing. So if we use the same sliding mechanism when the pressure from the cooker acts like the pen button that gets pressed and then when the slider goes to the topmost position a few small trough holes provided on the lid as well as slider will coincide and the pressure will be successfully and without much noise. Then the slider comes back to its original position with the help of spring.
No irritation of your ears as food is being cooked in your pressure cooker.Reward: Just send me one such cooker so that i can sit in peace while my rice is being cooked!!!

| Single Piece Recyclable Computer Case
Computer cases have two obvious problems. First they are not recyclable (or made from recycled material) and secondly they come in many pieces and parts and are made from various materials. Metal & Non-recyclable computer cases fill our landfills everyday with toxins.My ideal case would be some form of injection-molded (from recyclable or recycled plastic) single piece case which could house the main computer components.Allowances would need to be made for case cooling as well as a hinge/closure mechanism to allow easy access of internal components.I worked for a plastic-folder manufacturer several years ago that had developed CD/DVD binders that where 100% recyclable, so if a simple design could be worked out I believe this would help reduce the strain on the environment, and eventually reduce the price of computers plus the would come in some really COOL COLORS! Making this one single piece would allow these to be manufactured by the gazillion for little $$ once the initial molding & setup has been paid for.I have not seen anything like (a single piece case) on the net; please let me know if you find something similar or have some ideas.Reward: A few of these in various colors.

| Revolutionary headphones
One of the biggest drawbacks of headphones is that they block oxygen supply to the ears. Hence when you use them more than a few hours a day you start getting ear related problems. So my idea is a head phone that won't give you any problems, even if you use them for 8 hours+ or more ( you know people in the service industry call centers etc , basically those people who are not audiophiles.)These head phone will have two modes, simple (no amplification) and powered mode (sound amplified by an external source). Now the most important part . These will be absolutely non contact head phones i.e they will not touch any part of your ears. The mounting will have to be designed in such a way that both the speakers hang tightly near the ears without touching them. The head band will lock on the head over the ears and by using a special adjustment meter, the user can define the distance of each speaker from his ear lobe. Once the adjustment is done, the next time the user just wears the headphone and they fit exactly at the place where he wants without touching the ears. Have you tried this? Just take two speakers very close to your ears, don't touch them and listen to the rich surround experience that you get and your ears do not hurt. This is what the new head phone design will offer. Reward: nothing
