You might have heard of the fact that "beaming" (like in "Star Trek") has been discovered for very small particles?Well, the logical application would be to invent a vacuum cleaner using this feature. You could have a tiny divice (without dragging behind you the huge machine that always gets stuck somewhere between your furniture), and in doesn't matter if the technology isn't perfect yet or still involves some risks (just as in "The Fly"), because if the molecules of the dirt you are trying to remove get mixed up in some way, no one cares.Reward: A free beaming vacuum cleaner.

A pay per use, water proof, bullet proof, hurricane, flood, plague of locusts proof, emergency phone. A life or death survival phone that will make your S.O.S be heard no matter where, no matter what. Free or cheap to have, but you pay out the wazzoo if you use it.Reward: I'd like to never hear another cell phone ring.

| Closed captioning for movies
My wife and I have impaired hearing. We watch TV with closed captioning. We do not go to the movie theater, because we miss some of the dialog, especially whispers, fast repartee, and accents. I propose some sort of closed captioning for movie theaters for those people that need it. Remember the cardboard glasses for 3-D movies? Maybe the captioning can be shown such that hearing patrons don't see it, but hearing impaired can read it with special equipment.Reward: Fresh popcorn again in the company of fellow movie fans.
