Insight on the outside Printer Friendly Version
People who stay in apartments/houses/anywhere with boring, depressing or even ugly views through their windows, will benefit from this. A tranquill forest scene or a sandy beach with the usual scenery, there are millions of suitable pictures. Place these pics: Size to extend past window's edges, in an advertising sign board type of frame. Attach this to the wall outside the window, so that the view from inside is now the picture you chose. What if you get bored with that picture? Well remember the old cameras with their roll of film? Use the same concept inside the frame i.e.: a tube on either side of the frame with the picture running across the window from tube to tube. Take it even further. Put a daylight sensitive switch or a timer on the invention, and fill the tubes with 30 different pics on a roll, a new one each day, which automatically changes because of your timer. Wouldn't you like to see a beautiful sunrise over the sea when you open your curtains? OR a tiger drinking water from a mountain stream? The list is endless.
Reward: Send me the blue print of the machine, so that I can have one built for myself.

Temporary See Through Mirror Printer Friendly Version
A mirror's make up is very simple. It is a plane of glass then a layer of silver nitrate then a black backing to keep the silver nitrate reflective at all times. If we remove the black backing and keep the pane of glass and the silver nitrate, you can see right through it. If we have a light that we can turn off and on on the inside of something like a medicine cabinet (behind the mirror) or anything else and we keep the glass and silver nitrate but drop the black backing, we could shut the cabinet door with the light out on the inside of the cabinet and the darkness would serve to reflect your image just as well as the black backing (both being a black backing). But we then have the option of not having to open any doors or cabinets, since we can turn the inner light on and see what's inside by illuminating the back of the silver nitrate we see clearly through and past it and we can then know what's inside with no effort. This could be applied where any mirror or glass is used. A novel sounding idea, but (I think) very applicable in many instances and situations! This is not a two way mirror.
Reward: A very large mirror installed in my bathroom and a same size cabinet! I plan on stocking up on tooth paste!

Fridge Can Dispenser Printer Friendly Version
Now we all know there are "can dispensers" that are more like "can shelves" that go inside a fridge. But what about a real Dispenser that dispenses/rolls your favorite beer and soft drinks out the front with a push of a button.
Reward: One of these fridges and a couple of frosty beer mugs =)
