| Space launch mountain 
Use the ever expanding Sahara desert to construct a 13.5 mile tall pyramid of sand composite with a 1/2 square mile launch pad at the top. It would require the movement of around 3,200 cubic miles of sand that the 3.5 million square mile desert could easily supply. After initial construction costs for space launch would become minimal and could be used for centuries to come.Reward: Human enlightenment

| DC A/C Unit For Vehicles
I would like to create a vehicle a/c system that, instead of using the energy from the vehicle's motor to turn the a/c pump, has an electric DC motor to turn the pump, reducing the drag on the engine and increasing fuel economy. The a/c compressor would get mounted near the fire wall along with the DC motor, then connect them and run power to the DC motor. Splice into the alternator for recharge of an auxillary battery, if needed, or get a high output alternator and battery, to resolve the need for a second battery.Reward: Make one for my car.

| Camera as antitheft system for cars
Use state of the art facial recognition system to register users of a car. - This can be done with a resonably priced camera, and in-car-CPU. The car would not start unless a registered user operates the car. In security parlence, this can be a strong biometrics (second factor authentication) for the car. This can in additional to the key that we may be currently using.System can be built for registration, addition, deletion, title transfer etc. If the car is supected to be stolen - we can set parameters for them, a variety alerts can be send to authorities.
