Company-Sponsored Daycare Printer Friendly Version
Most parents aren't looking for the company to pay for the daycare, although I'm sure they wouldn't mind. I think that what most parents are looking for is to have their kids close and feel that they have more control over their children's environment.
The sponsored daycare could be located in a Mall or other nearby building.
There could be a volunteer parents group to help plan and participate in activities.
Opportunities could be provided to eat with the kids.
The employees of the company may be able to provide technical expertise.
Old and used equipment (computers, chairs desks) could be donated by the company.
Supplies could be purchased cheaper using the company's buying power.
I'm sure there are plenty of other people who could expand on this idea.
This option may be more appealing to a company than a company owned and managed daycare?
This is obviously not economical for small businesses.

American English in schools Printer Friendly Version
All over the world, teachers are obsessed with the idea of teaching kids the "real" British English. This obsession is making it unnecessarily hard for people to actually learn the language. British and American English are different in many ways, and depending on your mother-tongue, one flavor should be considerably easier to learn than the other. British English for example has a very hard and distinct pronunciation of consonants, while American English is softer and blurrier. For people in certain countries, it would make sense to learn the type of English that is closer related to their own language, resulting in quicker learning and less accent.

Arm Disk Blaster Printer Friendly Version
This product uses simple projection spring methods to shoot a disk. The Arm Blaster covers the arm from the wrist to the elbow. At both points there is rubber for bendability. The device is made from plastic and rubber so it is cheap. It could be used for two different causes; one, a toy for kids using foam disks, two, a spy gadget, the disks being metal and having a strong rope attached for retrevial and hanging from ceilings, with a small motor to pull the user up. The second purpose could also be used as a weapon by dettacthing the rope and using only the disk.
