Trashcan Rap Printer Friendly Version
A couple of weeks ago I've seen half a dozen of kids playing rap music using a trashcan in a metro station. The trashcan offered two different sounds - one by slamming the hand on it, the other by kicking it with the foot. The scene was just beautiful - it was already past midnight, the passengers were waiting for the metro, and most of them were either sleepy, or bored, or both. I guess that literally everybody enjoyed the show. (By the way, no actual trashcans were harmed during this song. :-) - I am sure that this would make the perfect scenario for a music video.

Digital Home Hi-Fi Printer Friendly Version
I want to put an Audio CD into a device that sits on my bookshelf. A CD player. A CD player that could be a single unit or part of a compact Hi-Fi unit. I want the CD to play and record to a hard disk and be stored internally on the device. I want the CD title, author, artist, tracks etc to be stored on the device so I can replay the CD again later without having to put the original back in again.
Sure, this is not a new idea, and MP3 players and CD recorders are available on the market today, but where is the simple device. Put in CD. Play and record to Hard disk. Simple, small device on my bookshelf. Store 1000 CDs and protect my collection. CDs don't last forever especially with kids!
I would pay $1000 for such a machine, say a Denon or Sony device that was simple and easy to use. Is there one out there? I can't find one. Internal Hard Drives these days are small in size and big on storage. 40GB would cover it, surely. Look at Digital video recorders like the Tivo or Sky+ systems. Am I behind the times or is there a device out there already?
Reward: I just want one!

Garage goodies Printer Friendly Version
Now cars are having dvd's n psx's etc. built in the backseat.. I thought maybe some custom built console could be made specifically for in car entertainment.
When you stop at a garage to fill up the car you get the opportunity to download stuff into console, could be a game, the news, a movie or whatever.. maybe have a touch screen menu beside the petrol/gas tank so you could pick what you want and pay for it when you pay for the petrol.. would be nice on long journeys to stop the kids being bored, and when you stop for a break you can catch up on the news.
hello I'm lee.. 28.. with beer and nearly out of rizla+
