| Pay per view worth the view 
I think that Pay per view from cable and satellite services should have new movies to watch that are simalar to those found in many hotels. These movies would be on the verge of coming out to video, but exclusive to pay per view first before they come out to video stores.I can go down to Hollywood video and rent the exact same movies showing on pay per view. Usually cheaper too. Video stores should concentrate on sales of movies and archived movies, letting cable and satellite premium channels take up the new releases right out of pay per view, so those that don't care to wait can pay to view it, and those that don't care are paying anyway with HBO, Showtime, etc. and those who liked the movie can buy it from the video store.Premium chanels are great but by the time movies get there, they have already been seen, the only difference between that and regular TV is that it's comercial free and uncut.Reward: One free pay per view movie

| Fantasy Movie Studio (like Fantasy Baseball)
Create a "fantasy movie studio" entertainment/subscription site, similar to "fantasy baseball" (a sophisticated prediction game based on the real stats of a live MLB season). Partner with the Internet Movie Database for existing information --rather than collecting your own.Rather than RBIs and other stats that baseball uses, use stats that apply to the entertainment industry like amount of money each actor brings in per picture, a "diva"/"temperment" scale (for qualitative information that effects quantitative results), etc. to determine how much money a film will bring in for "the team" --i.e., movie studio. Films can be picked from "in production" category in the IMDB. Users could also customize such features as creating their own film studio, negotiating contracts for actors, etc.With this online entertainment/subscription service you could also build everything on your "team" from the actors to the director to the set designer.Reward: Free subscription to the service and credit.

| Personal Product Scanner for use at any Store
Exactly like the uses of the product scanner the store gives you for a bridal or baby registry, but smaller, affordable, and can be used at any store. Then when you are at the bookstore or department store, see something you are interested in but aren't going to purchase, just scan the barcode and the item is added to your list. The scanner has an accompanying website for you to access your lists, with item images, the price, and what store it is from. You can sort the products and even choose to add the items to another website (e.g. scan a movie title at Best Buy and you could choose to add the title to you Netflix Queue or a book to Amazon Wish List/Google Book Search).Amazon could sell these scanners and would have the site infrastructure already setup. Also, the scanner technology or RFID could be implemented into your cell phone.Reward: Any Acknowledgment and final product for free
