| Street Ice clearer 
I suggest a vehicle (driven or hand pushed for pavements) which progresses slowly along roads carrying out the following stages to clear snow/ice.Front of machine has chopping/grinding/scraping blades with a hot air heater and suction device. Collected ice and snow is forced into an internal heating tank. Tank is violently churned and mixed whilst being heated enough to melt to slush/water. Side vents expell water into guttering and drains, leaving a cleared road/pavement.Considering the array of sophisticated machinery on our roads today and the polluting effects and costs of salt/grit spreading I surmise that this would be a feasible and economical device to build and maintain with current technology.Reward: Just a name-check in the device name would be nice!

| Wet and wash
The wet and wash is an arch that has side and top sprayers. You connect a garden hose to the side of the arch, turn on the water and slowly run your car or SUV through the arch to wet the vehicle down to scrub it, then run it back through to rinse it. Reward: With this product set up in your driveway, you dont have to travel to wash your vehicle.

| Yellow Light Delay
Have you ever entered an intersection on a yellow light and then had traffic in front of you slow down so you couldn't get through before it turned red? Of course this is a rarity and yet at some time we all freak out and stress (as if driving isn't already stressful enough!) My idea is to have a traffic sensor that knows you're still in the intersection and delays the cross traffic green until you get out. Anyone entering on a red should still get a ticket but at least pedestrians and other traffic will be safeguarded against a possible tragedy. Such a smart intersection would likely only be used in a few places.Reward: Safer roads
