Holographic Images Printer Friendly Version
I was thinking it would be great if someone invented a holographic TV. I guess that it would really be a holographic projector. Where everything you see would be projected like it was actually there, instead of on a screen. I have seen it in some movies and I think it would actually be a great thing for someone to invent.
Reward: To have one for myself.

Television playing sound without video Printer Friendly Version
In computer if we want to hear music but don't want to switch on the monitor we usually switch off the monitor. This reduces the power consumption. Why similar idea is not introduced in television?
For example if u want to hear only songs which are played in mtv or channel v and don't want to see the video of the song then we can use this idea. For implementing this idea there should be a button in remote controller. By pressing the button the power supply should be there to the television other than picture tube. By this means we can reduce the power consumed.
Reward: marketing manager of the company using this idea (as I am a mba student from top university of India) or television with this capability.

Books on TV Printer Friendly Version
Have you ever laid in bed or on the couch and read a book? Im sure most of us have. Well, sometimes it's hard to get comfortable holding the book. Paperbacks keep wanting to close, and big books make your arms tired, etc. How about books on DVD. Pop it into the DVD player, and there it is. The written word on the T.V. sceen. All you have to do is lay back and read. You dont even need the lights on. It would have a page turning button on the remote (channel up/down), and also the page could be flipped sideways for reading horizontally.
