Kids Swimming Pool Improvement Printer Friendly Version
My idea is just an improvement on the little plastic kiddy pools. Ok my idea involves adding a canal-shield type thing at the lip of the pool that prevents water from leaving the pool when the kids are moving and splashing around. Also in this canal there will be a hole or two tunneling water to the base of the pool to an added tray that fills with water allowing the kids to wash their feet of all the grass and dirt that tracks into the pool. So you will be left with cleaner water and more water which will lead to happier children and parents.

Shrinky Dink Rubber Drawing Pad Printer Friendly Version
If you start with a certain sized plastic board and put clips or clamps at the corners, then you can stretch out any shaped piece of rubber and draw on it. The further the rubber is stretched the better the effect on the rubber. First you stretch the rubber then you draw on it then you release the rubber from its clips. The shrinking of the rubber creates a very unique effect that is better and much like the old shrinky dink oven baked shinking plastic. The things you draw on the rubber shrink and look like some fantasy version of the drawn picture or word or what ever it is you drew on it. It is hard to explain, but easy to do. Buy a balloon and lightly draw on it then deflate it and you will see that the image changes and it also compacts making everything look like a logo type drawing. A must have for all those kids who need a creative outlet and a new idea that will thrill them every time they make a new drawing on there pads!
It could also be washable and water soluable so that you could reuse all the same parts including the rubber sheets that get stretched.
Reward: Four of these for my sister's children.

Multi-Sport Transformable Nurf Ball Printer Friendly Version
As you know already, some children's plush toys and other transformable type toys are very popular since they serve more than one purpose and thusly take up less space and cost less than buying several toys for each specific task. So, if you have "Nurf Ball" materials you can simply form them into one shape during manufacturing then split the center with a slit of smaller size and pull out (inside out) a differently shaped toy or in this case a "Nurf Ball" that could be used for American Football; then flip out the round shape inside (tucking away the football) and play basketball or soccer or any other sport requiring different shapes. It would go from elongated to round for instance. The ultimate goal would be to get more than two shapes of balls from one "Nurf Ball" or to make other toys out of that same sponge material for baby baths, cleaning, popular cartoon characters or any purpose at all that you could transform.
