Design yer Clothes Printer Friendly Version
I thought about having a tailor shop that would cut patterns that people submitted--along with their size and measurements. The main idea would be to cut out patterns for the customer to sew up themselves, or sew them up for an extra cost for the customer as an option. The customer and a tailor would likely have a short collaboration on any minor finishing details for the design before the pattern was started. Now with the Internet, this would be a much smoother process. The site could feature top fashion designs of the week/month/year and be available to anyone for sale that wished to market any of the clothing styles. Or, maybe it could just be set up like at Shutterpoint.com where the designer sets a price and anyone could buy your design at the price you list and the designer would get recognition in different ways on the desineyerclothes website.

Reflective Designs Printer Friendly Version
There is reflective material that is added to children's clothing and boots sometimes, etc. I love this and would find it interesting to have an artistic design created from it. You could have something for the living room, or children's room (would be great for the little ones when darkness arives). You could go crazy with themes for this (Egyptian, flowers for girls, fish, religious, whatever your fancy might be).

Stop Answering Machines Wasting Our Money Printer Friendly Version
How often have you rung a telephone number, an answering machine replies, and you hang up because you don’t want to leave a message? Is it possible to design the system so the ringer is alerted by a particular ringing tone that an answering machine is switched on and will come on in say one minutes time if nobody answers the phone? We would then have the option of hanging up before the machine answers the call.
It would save a lot of money. For example, in Australia where I live, if ten million people make five such calls a year, that’s about ten million dollars simply wasted every year.
Reward: a free telephone with an answering machine!
