| Bar code reader interface card and information system 
Interface that allows appliances to connect to your smart cart bar code reader [=another idea in the Creativity Pool] to automatically set oven temps., cooktimes, and display mixing instructions based on data from UPC codes. This would also keep track of items you use and create your shopping list for you. Which you could fax to your grocery store ahead of time and then you wouldn't need the smart cart.Reward: bump me off the landlubber list.

| Personalised Postcard Printer
A machine similar to a photo printer at photo printing shops. Photos can be transferred to the machine via usb, dropbox, etc. They can then be manipulated to make postcards, which it then prints out on postcard paper, with or without lines on the back. Could also incorporate puzzle postcards and prepaid postage.These machines can be purchased by cafes for their customers who want to send personalised postcards. At the same time they can order a coffee or something to eat.Reward: One machine to keep for myself and another to give to a local cafe in Helsinki.

Instead of saving to flash memory on your digital camera, wouldn't it be great if you can save to a wireless network drive? With the right setup, this would allow an almost unlimited amount of space for snapshots. You can take photos until you're out of battery.Reward: the product
