Idea for keeping smooth cooktops clean Printer Friendly Version
I can't find that these already exist. What we need is a round coaster-like object that can be placed over the heating element that will transfer heat to the pan that is placed on it. It should have a lip around the top to catch anything that gets spilled or boils out of the pan. They should come in different sizes for larger or smaller pans and elements. Anyone who has a smooth cooktop knows they can be a serious pain to keep clean.
Reward: Free Supply of different sizes.

Clean-hands faucet Printer Friendly Version
My idea is to have a dual station faucet knob. On faucets that have two knobs, they could be replaced with two two station knobs. A person could prevent cross-contamination by turning the faucet on (with dirty hands) with one (probably the lower) set of knobs, wash, then turn the faucet off with the uncontaminated upper set. On faucets that have only one knob, replace it with one with two stations.

A knife with many faces! Printer Friendly Version
I often find that chopping things e.g. carrots can take a long time and be boring. My idea is a knife with, say about 8 blades coming out of it. It will have like a tee shaped handle and from the top of the tee will stem the blades. There will also be a wingnut for example to adjust the width that the knife cuts the chunks in so (depending on the width setting) it would be possible to cut a whole carrot in just two movements.
Reward: to have my name on the product!
