Hair Growth Formula For Animal's Hair Retention Printer Friendly Version
Let's face it; all animals shed hair and it sticks to our clothing and everything else and it gets in our mouths and up our noses. Now, a standard hair growth formula can be diluted and taylored to suit any animal, but it will not grow them new hair. However, the hair growth formula does something better. It will keep the animal's skin conditioned and the hair would stay on the animal year round rather than fall out and grow new hair.
I know what you're thinking here... the animal will naturally need to drop off old hair due to nature, but if the animal keeps an (average) hair amount that never changes throughout the year, then they will not be too hot or too cold. Just right all year long. The main reason we want the hair on the animal is that it causes us to need brushes, hair removers for clothing, air filters clog, you have to vacuum it up all the time and nothing good ever comes of it except all the money we throw away keeping it on the animal. It causes these and more problems, but with all hair growth formulas in the World they are specialized to keep hair on the person by a special skin conditioning formula (that can be adapted to animal skin) so we would solve the hair problem and have more adopted pets from shelters and less need to end their lives due to lack of adoptions due to pet hassels.
Reward: A hair growth formula for pets shipped to the house and a good supply for dogs and cats.

Adopt a Single Parent Printer Friendly Version
Churches are at a loss of how to help the continuing growing numbers of single parents which are increasing on a daily basis. In order to assist single parents, there needs to be education. A seminar could be conducted which would introduce the concept and explain the many needs a single parent encounters. My idea is to have a men's group and women's or youth groups of every participating church "adopt" single parents for one month. The men's group could provide house repair, car repair, and lawn care. The women's group could provide babysitting, meals, budget counseling, groceries, taxi service to job interviews and doctor's appointments. The groups would pool their money together to assist a financial need. The churches would do an asssessment of the volunteers to see where he or she is most useful according to their skills and talents. There would be a coordinator to schedule the volunteers as the needs arise. It would be good if a large number of churches participated at the same time during the month because the needs are so great. If this concept was enacted, welfare and food stamps would be a memory.

Group Kitchens for the Homeless Printer Friendly Version
There is not enough housing available in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. In my small town of 1800, there are thirty people who live in their cars because their rental was sold. In hi-demand areas, people who work the low-paying service jobs cannot even find a room to rent at double their former rent. Rather than leave their jobs and friends by moving away completely, they move into in their cars to save money. If something else goes wrong, often these "homeless by choice" people can lose everything.
To avoid this from happening, I have "adopted" a number of car-dwellers, giving them limited access to my tiny home (showers, taking messages for job-seeking) in exchange for various chores. With this help, most of them eventually found housing. Some of these "recovered homeless" got together and rented a shared place. They decided to start a "pot-luck" evening twice a week for their other friends who were still living in cars: The car-dwellers agree to bring extra food. They prepare the food that's there and clean up the kitchen. The renters get food prepared for them and their dinner dishes get washed. Perhaps a car-dweller who has a job becomes a part of the house when a room becomes available.
Reward: The idea already works for me!
