Tilt Wide Screens Printer Friendly Version
Nowadays laptop computer screens, even the ones intended for use in the office, are coming in widescreen. I think it would be useful if these screens could be tilted vertically like for editing text documents.
Widescreens come at a ratio of 16:9=1.77. A standard letter page is in a ratio of 11:8.5=1.29 so the length of a letter would fit nicely if put at the width of a page. Anyway, it's an idea.
Reward: just knowing that took the time thinking of me to look for something is enough

Battery powered WI/FI HDD in a fireproof box Printer Friendly Version
Let's face it, if your like me one of your most prised possesions is the contents of your computer. It would be nice to have all that data stored in a fire proof box. It could be called "The Black Box".

If anything happened, or even if your computer was stolen; everything would be protected. 120 GB would be nice.
Plus a softwear package that would (how should I say this) Officalize offical documents would be nice. That way you could re-print offical documents.
Plus make sure it is water tight. So it floats. Or make it sinkable and throw it in your septic tank. No one will steal it then. But then again you will never replace your batteries.
Or make it solar power, Microwave transmitable, with a GPS locator, ship it to NASA, and have them throw it out to

SPACE. I think that's safe.
Reward: The product of course. The later the better.

Have you heard octa-cored cpus? Printer Friendly Version
Computer chips are improving in terms of speed, but the trend now is not the speed, but in efficiency. Chipmakers are into dual core, quad core, for multi tasking. My idea is this: can someone build motherboards that will accomodate 2, 4 or maybe 8 cpu's (old but working chips). The same principle is applied on quad core cpu's (4 old cpu's in 1 mobo). Application: 4 tasks at the same time can be performed by the computer. (Convertible slots are encouraged so different cpu speed and slots may be used.) Which means 4 (or maybe 8) different cpu's can be used in a single mobo! Get my idea? Any wilder? Feedback please!
Reward: the product for free!
